MENDING BROKEN HEARTS
Seven billion human hearts echo all at once, a natural rhythm rising up from the street;
If you close your eyes, and put your hand on your chest, you can hear each and every single heart beat.
Every Six minutes in the U.K someone dies from a deadly heart attack;
Ten souls an hour will leave there families at home, wishing time would just turn back.
146 Thousand British citizens will have a heart attack this year, unfortunately 94 Thousand of those souls will die;
They will be watching over their loved ones from heaven, but from up there they cannot console their families when they cry.
179 children will lose either there Mum or Dad to heart disease, each and every single day;
I wish that figure covered the entire world, but that number is just for the U.K.
Our hearts can’t repair themselves, our bodies aren’t equipped with glue;
But a Zebra fish can heal his own heart, so maybe they can help science, heal our future hearts to.
We have to ask charities to help us, as governments are too busy filling their own pockets, or bailing out the next failing bank;
Maybe they should tell that to some of the families, whose worlds have just sank.
So let’s all join together and help a cause, instead of tearing families apart;
If all of our souls beat together, maybe we can try mending a broken heart.
