MOMENT IN TIME 2
It has been 382 months since I first stood at the bottom of life’s ladder, preparing my first step to climb;
It has now been 1,652 weeks since I first began my very own moment in time.
Nearly 36,500 sunrises have now set since Titanic disappeared into the darkness below;
It has now been 91 months since the world waved goodbye to the godfather, Marlon Brando.
2,296 weeks ago Martin Luther King passed away whilst trying to live out his dream;
It was just 398 months ago when Superman first flew across that silver screen.
Nearly 2,368 weeks ago England’s national football team were world champions, our heroic captain that day was the legendary Bobby Moore;
It has now been just 48 years since Muhammad Ali first knocked Sonny Liston to the floor.
689 months ago Marilyn Monroe let the subway wind blow up her dress, as the eyes of the world gazed with a silent unblinking stare;
It’s now been 504 weeks since my Nan was lifted up into heaven, and to this day I still wish that I was there.
The sun has now set 4,015 times since I was stabbed, that means 572 weeks ago I was pulling a knife out from my chest;
204 months have now passed since we laid my Granddad down to rest.
We all have a destiny to follow in life, and you have just been reading mine;
So seize your chance but never forget yesterday, as we are only ever here for a single moment in time.
