HAVE YOU EVER *new poem*
Have you ever looked up and tried to count how many stars are twinkling in the sky;
Have you ever seen a homeless man sleeping in a doorway, and asked yourself why
Have you ever looked up to see the man in the moon?
Have you ever counted the children in Africa that were taken away to soon
Have you ever thought that our world is spinning way to fast?
Have you ever congratulated that boy who finished the race, but came in last?
Have you ever lost someone that you loved, and now you can only talk to them through the sky?
Have you ever wished you could turn back time, just for a chance to say goodbye
Have you ever thought if there is a heaven then there must be a hell?
Have you ever had a bully that made you so afraid of hearing that school bell?
Have you ever been asleep and you wish you didn’t have to wake up from a dream?
Have you ever shouted so loud, but nobody ever heard you scream
It has taken me an entire lifetime to find just a few answers, but people always say “Better late than never”;
But I still have a million questions, and they all start with
Have you ever.
